Summary

SEATGA was invited to present about “ A Good Approach for Cultural and Heritage Travel Pattern” and the travel itinerary for cultural and heritage tourism products in Southeast Asia region. The delegates are tourism associations(travel agencies)mostly come from Indonesia.

Objective (s)

  • Recommend the constructive improvement as a guideline for ASEAN Travel Pattern on Cultural and Heritage Tourism.
  • Create interests among tourism associations  towards of cultural and heritage tourism products

Conclusion

Each related bodies like government agencies, private sectors, NTOs etc have to work together to ensure the development of cultural and heritage tourism can be done successfully. Moreover, the individual roles such as local community and tourist guide also have a huge responsibility to bring up the quality of cultural and heritage tourism of this region. Some of the criteria we need to take a consideration in a developing process of cultural and heritage tourism also are the accessibility, attraction, accommodation, control capacity, market segment, safety and security and tourist guide service in order to determine the success of planning.
